CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT
STREETBUILD_OFFICE_BUILDING_1.JPG

Even during tough economic times the Streetbuild team continues to grow with the addition of new Cadets in Sydney and Brisbane.  We welcome Ben Stupkin and Josh McBurnie to our team in their trainee roles.  Such appointments are consistent with our commitment to continuously reinforcing and growing our capabilities through internal training and development.

Recently the company commissioned new Project Management software which is shared with the Queensland operation.  This makes more efficient tasks like project planning, cost control, job management and contract administration.  It also links directly with the accounting system, job estimation and scheduling.  It provides the company with greater capacity to effectively handle multiple projects and also the best outcomes for clients.

The Norwest location places Streetbuild close to the new Headquarters of Woolworths and provides us with a modern and professional image.  It is conveniently located close to the new M7 Freeway, which makes travel to our regional clients more efficient.

QUEENSLAND PROGRESS

Streetbuild activities in Queensland have expanded rapidly with work performed all over the state from Cairns to the Gold Coast and many major centres in between.  The state office, located conveniently at Milton, overlooks the Brisbane River, is close to the Brisbane CBD and all major arteries to the north, south and west.

The state team has an established pool of competent Site Supervisors and a comprehensive range of proven Sub-Contractors.  We are currently training a second  Project Manager to cater for committed and expected work and appointed our first Management Cadet.

The Queensland operation completed its largest ever Woolworths project at Gympie which is just north of Noosa and the Sunshine Coast.  Since then major projects have been completed on the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Hervey Bay, Airlie Beach, Townsville, Ingham, Cairns and Mareeba.

We believe there is great potential for Streetbuild growth throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales and we look forward to providing continued service to this region into the future.

Education Revolution, Schools Pride

The company has embarked on work related to the Federal Governments "Education Revolution" initiative and the "Schools Pride" program.  We anticipate additional schools work in early 2010 and the possibility of other work for the Queensland Department of Public Works. In the meantime Streetbuild is persueing ground up retail construction projects in both states.

Streetbuild was a finalist in the NSW section of the Telstra Business awards. This prestigious competition is open to all SME businesses nationally and provides considerable exposure for state and national winners. The company has again completed a record year with sales revenue and geographic coverage substantially increased over last year. The Queensland operation is now well established and respected. We are grateful to our loyal clients, sub contractors and suppliers in NSW and Queensland.

WOOLWORTHS WARILLA

Streetbuild is currently completing a variety of consecutive projects for Woolworths, Target and Dan Murphys stores in various locations throughout NSW.  In addition the Queensland operation is completing three projects and is about to start its first schools project which falls under the Federal Government "National Schools Pride" initiative.

Many of the projects undertaken by Streetbuild are at night with a large variety of quality sub-contractors covering the comprehensive trade packages.  Despite thier complexity they are completed ahead of schedule and on budget.

Both the NSW and Qld operations are currently tendering on separate ground up construction and fitout projects for Dan Murphys stores.  These projects would elevate Streetbuild to a new level by justifying the expansion of key staff and trade resourses in both states.
