    Graeme Street Founding Director

    Graeme Street founded the business in 1998, after a successful and diverse construction career spanning 20 years. Having gained valuable experience working for a diverse group of companies including Civil & Civic, Triden Contractors & New England Constructions, Graeme decided it was time to start up his own venture.

    From day one, the business was set up with a quality service mentally, industry best practice procedures, strong business ethics and an unwavering desire to go that extra mile to ‘get it right’ for the client. His focus was on establishing the reputation of Streetbuild as a trusted business partner and becoming a leader in the field of retail construction and refurbishment.

    After leading the Streetbuild team as Managing Director for 20 years, in July 2019, Graeme handed over the MD role to co-owner, Timothy Gagen who is now responsible for the efficient running of the business on a day-to-day basis. Graeme has now taken a more ‘helicopter view’ of the business, looking at how best to continue providing our clients with the results and outcomes that surpass their expectations and to provide continuing opportunity for our staff to grow in their careers.

    Graeme is passionate about developing our people in-house and enjoys the opportunity to mentor staff, assisting with their development in construction expertise and business acumen and being instrumental in providing a pathway to meet their short and longer-term aspirations.

    Our people tend to stay with us, and this has many positives for all, particularly in the area of past learnings from particular types of projects/clients/industries. These learnings are then easily employed on subsequent projects resulting even better outcomes for our repeat clients in the fields of retail and education, of which there are many.

    Graeme is the majority shareholder and continues to be very actively involved at both Board and Operations level. He continues to derive great satisfaction and pride in the ongoing development and expansion of the Streetbuild business and its team.

  • Tim Gagen

    Tim Gagen Managing Director

    After a successful 10 years with Streetbuild, Tim Gagen became the Managing Director in June 2018. Having first begun his career as an apprentice, Tim is backed by almost 20 years in the building industry and now leads a team of experts in the design and construction of our projects. 

    Tim is well respected in the industry, demonstrated through the strong relationships he has established with satisfied clients, architects, external project managers and sub-contractors. 

    Tim is a proven leader, and his success lies in his commitment to taking a ‘hands-on’ management approach. This allows him to not only guarantee that the highest standard of workmanship and materials is delivered for each project, but also to ensure the best experience for each client through honest and efficient communication and project adaptability. Tim takes the time to understand the goals and expectations of each client, and works closely with them in generating solutions that will not only look good, but will be functional and durable.

    Having worked and learnt under strong mentors himself, Tim understands the value of providing strong leadership, and mentoring to his staff members. Tim has a natural ability to develop and strengthen both individuals and management teams in order to maximise not only each staff members true potential, but to ensure the company success as well.

  • Steve Winchester

    Steve Winchester Operations Manager - QLD

    Steve is a highly motivated, goal-focused and process-driven Construction Project Manager. He has a track record in successfully planning and leading the delivery of commercial, retail, industrial and residential construction and refurbishment projects. A trade background and significant on-site experience is complemented with extensive tertiary qualifications in construction, project management and training.
    Steve's focus is on driving collaboration within project teams to achieve optimum project outcomes and complete all work with zero harm and environmental impact. This is complemented with acute attention to quality and a client-focused approach that attracts repeat business.

  • Chad Khoury

    Chad Khoury NSW State Manager

    Chad is an experienced State, Operations and Construction Manager with a demonstrated history of working in retail, education and commercial construction industry. Chad is highly skilled in people management, value engineering, cost management, project estimation and construction. He is a strong operations professional with a Bachelor of Engineering and Civil Engineering from the University of Technology, Sydney. Chad is passionate about managing all areas of construction activities as well as tendering and business development.
