Grand Opening Day at ALDI North Richmond with Hawkesbury City Council's Councillor Jill Reardon, Streetbuild's Managing Director, Mr Graeme Street, Hawkesbury City Council's Mayor, Kim Ford, Mr Ryan Lotz, Streetbuild's Project Manager and Mr Jock Wigan, ALDI's Property Director.

At 8a.m. on Wednesday the 30th September, the crowds were already lining up to some of the first to experience the excitement of the new ALDI Store in North Richmond. At 8.30a.m, Mayor for Hawkesbury City Council, Kim Ford, along with Councillor Jill Reardon and ALDI North Richmond's Store Manager cut the red ribbon across the automatic glass doors to reveal the brand new store to the crowds.

Once inside, customers were treated to many Opening Day specials, coffee tastings and the world famous ALDI chocolate tastings.

Staff were just as excited as the customers with their new store. The staff areas, the loading dock area, storage areas and the trading floor are all very spacious, well laid out, and well planned - true to ALDI's form.

With what used to be a Franklins store, Streetbuild turned this project around in just 11 weeks. A remarkable effort for the Streetbuild team.
